Poster Award! Rebecca Duffy won the top poster award at the FASEB Gastrointestinal Tract XVII: Current Biology of the GI Tract, Mucosa, Microbiota, and Beyond, Steamboat Springs, CO, August 2017 for her poster entitled ‘Collagen Synthesis and Secretion by Intestinal Myofibroblasts in 3D Synthetic Matrices’

Annual Lab Summer Outing – Deep Sea Fishing.  We caught some fish, but MA /Federal laws said we had to throw them back 🙁  Even the big old cod! We had fun swimming and flying kites in Gloucester, afterward!

The MIT DARPA PhysioMimetics team successfully completed the one month,  10-organ interaction milestone! The team was amazing in taking thousands of samples and data points.  Stay tuned for the paper!
